Jacque Leonard, Band Director 2017-2021
Jacque Leonard has led the Villages Concert Band since 2017. Her formal training includes Flute Performance and Music Education degrees from Wichita State University and a Masters in Music from Kansas State where she studied conducting with Dr. Frank Tracz. Her performance experience includes Arkansas Public Theater, Arkansas Philharmonic, Bentonville Civic Orchestra, and the Opus 3 Trio, all while maintaining a full slate of students. She is currently the flute instructor for Santa Teresa HS, Indigo Schools band director, and a private studio teacher. Originally from Kansas, Jacque enjoys exploring California with her husband and two children.
